i don't really know what to do actually....

i got myself the equipment i need....
i went to her house... rang the door bell... i was asked to come in....
took a deep breath... she went into her room....
i followed in not long after that.

I formated an Apple Macintosh G4 Computer!! YeaH!
The satisfaction is really great to see success. It's my first time and I've never even touched a mac before. I dont even know how to use one.
Anyway I don't have a pic of michelle's iMac but here's what it looks like. Michelle's iMac... codenamed Michael. Yes to clear out the misunderstandings, Michael is her mac, and she loves 'him' very much. *jealous* =( yea anyway I wiped the hdisk clean and installed a fresh new Mac OS X 10.4 and best is, I updated it to 10.4.4 which is later than her previous OS by 2 versions. For those of you who want to know how I did it, just leave me your email, I might leave a tutorial if I'm free enough.
The thing about a mac is that it's not like a pc. The OS reinstallation is really a breeze. Plus, it doesnt have a serial number or CD-key. The reason is, Mac OS is only usable on a mac, so before you install this, you need to buy one from an Apple center. Hence, no CD-key. That means all you need is the installation dvd. And updates like the one I did (10.4.4) can be download directly from Apple.com HERE. But the thing is, you have to start from 10.4.1 then 2 then 3 then only 4. From what I have learnt today, a mac is not at all like a pc. The Operating System (OS) is just like a software upgrade that you put in a gadget like perhaps your Nokia phone. In fact there are updates to improve the functionality of the keyboard and mouse which can be downloaded HERE. They have updates for each component? No wonder its just like a gadget more than a PC.
And in all, it was my first time and I did it without much difficulty. I have upgraded my skills. mC's parents jokingly said something about me opening my own Apple+Windows Center. Perhaps I could... and make some money out of it. hehe
