happy as a jellybee =)
its never too early to learn to be a husband =)
Oops.. I havent been blogging for some time now it seems. I'd like to share what happened to me today.
Today actually is a day for me and my baby to go out... however things didnt exactly go our way so I decided that it's best we'd just stay indoors. I woke up early in the morning to go settle some stuff at lowyat plaza. I bought myself the Nokia HS-31 Stereo Headset which I use to connect to my phone and now my Nokia 6230 doubles up as an mp3 player =)
Then I made my way over to baby mC's place and we spent some time with each other. About 1pm, we drove over to her grandma's place which wasnt very far away. I have to tell you, I was so very the nervous on the way there. I mean, okay here's the thing. I've never been afraid of my in-laws. I mean, I got along with michelle's parents pretty fine. But to go and visit her grandma was really something big for me. Another thing also would be language barrier. Supposed language required was cantonese. I can speak cantonese but the only problem is I havent spoken in ages and my accent is going to sound so rediculous. Gathered up all the courage I could and well, I went in and greeted her grandma. Even had some lunch there. Things didnt turn out bad at all.... in fact, all the sudden I remember how to speak cantonese XD
Later part of the afternoon, we had to do something really really difficult. To find a certain someone out of the cybercafe. You know, I know how it feels like to be caught at a cybercafe and to be asked to go home. The feeling is not nice at all. What more especially if its your own parents. But yet, I do understand why people go cybercafes and what fun it used to bring. Used... no wait...actually I think if I still went cybercafe today, I'd still enjoy it. But then as a student, I knew my limits and I still do balance up my time with studies. Even right up till s'pore, I still went CC. And I tell you, the cybercafe is s'pore is really really really..... superb! No CC here can match the one I went in s'pore.
During the later part of the afternoon, not much was being done. Idled a lot at my baby's house... and then just send them over to their grandma's place again in the evening. Then I went home in a very sleepy manor. I think I should never drive home like that again. =
Thats how my day went but for today's entry, I have something else to talk about. Its something my dad said to me today.

"Son, do you know everyone in our family are good cooks?"
Okay, I know he was talking about himself. Haha... but its very true! Everyone in my family that bears the surname of Aw is somehow a good cook. My dad can cook, my uncle can cook, my aunt in s'pore can cook. My mum who comes from a restaurant running family obviously can cook. My uncle's wife also can cook too... and my aunt's husband... err.. kay I'm not too sure about him. But anyway, my eldest brother can cook. He's married btw, and his wife can certainly cook. My 2nd brother in s'pore can surely cook, although he usually only cook cruisine stuff... like really high taste dining food. And last but not least, me! I can cook!... hehe... don't know if I'm any good at it because I'm not that experienced. I admit, there's nothing to brag about me but I know how to cook a dish or two. And yea, as for my quote of the day, its never too early to learn how to be a husband. Its true...
